A brief wedding interlude
Everyone keeps asking where I found the minister. Well let me tell you.. it was an exhaustive research of 1000 wedding couples, spreadsheets and the such... NOT As you all know, we planned this in 3 weeks, somehow we kept forgetting the justice-of-the-peace..you know...it is just not as much fun as picking the cake, the flowers or the menu. One day Paul said to me ... "Here is a website, pick one because I haven't had time to call them" So what do you do? Look at the pictures of course... who would central casting call to fill the role of a minister???
and then there it was... good looking guy with white hair and a robe... PERFECT!!

So I heard (through reputable sources) that you were planning YOUR wedding while at work ... (hhmm ... I seem to recall that I read on a blog somewhere that some people frown upon that!). Moreover, only you would have spreadsheets tabulating the fact that all flavors were adequately represented! As always, you are so amusing!
Well, from my vantage point, the wedding ceremony was beautiful ... as we stood behind Mima, we hopefully captured on video the little "Mima shuffle" which was a cute little manouver of the tush that I took to be excitement and joy, as the little kilt swayed from side to side. Mima claims it was body language for "OK let's get going!". And then there was Paul's face ... pure joy and exhilaration, mixed with tears. The room was filled with palpable love for both of you!
And of course it was so much fun meeting our fellow bloggers, and all the wonderful people about whom we have heard such great stories over the years...
What a wonderful wedding!
