where did the inspiration go?
I just don't have much to say these days...I know I know, that sounds so out of character. Lately I have been reading and knitting, nothing out of the ordinary in the book department, and certainly nothing exciting. It is like knitting for the sake of knitting. I haven't found anything challenging or fun. I will keep looking, but there might be a detour. Up in NH there is a little town called Centre Harbor. Very cute and charming village and a pretty wonderful restaurant called Canoe, but I digress...There is a terrific knitting store and next to it, there is a quilting store. A couple of weeks ago, we had the owner give us a very long and concise explanation if why a quilt is valuable or a work of art. It peeked my curiosity...minor problem is that I don't know how to put needle and thread to cloth, but that has never stopped me before. It is a possibility that will be my next project, but I just need to get bitten by creativity and that has been eluding me lately. For X-Mas we will be up here for a while..maybe the bulb will go on.

A new home to personalize, you're getting healthier and feeling better, settling in for the winter, looking forward to the holidays -- sounds to me like a whole lot of nesting is going on. It doesn't make for dramatic blogging, but it is sure a happy and welcome development. I hope you and Paul are enjoying yourselves and staying cozy. Snuggling is in order!
Lots of love.

Where did all the inspiration go? From you to the rest of the world, as I think of your journey over the last 2 years! I have been thinking of you a lot, as I remember the diagnosis from Xmas 2006. Having inspired all of us, you're just re-fuelling! So pamper yourself big time! World beware - here comes the brilliantly creative Mr. M with even more attitude! Wishing you only the best for the New Year!
Happy New Year Mima!!!!
