a letter to work

For most people work is a place where you go to make a buck. You go in, do your thing and leave. I however am the luckiest person in the world, if you take the corporate nonsense aside, I just love the people I work with. They make me laugh and I hope they realize how much I will miss them while recuperating home. By the way, this goes for the people in the bldg I work with and the ones I deal with daily from other divisions. Lucky for me, i will be connected with my laptop.... poor bastards!

"Courage is not the absence of fear.
Rather, it is the ability to act despite the fear." -- Les Sampou

You have shown yourself to be courageous and a role model. So you've earned the right to make your lists and plans, do whatever it takes to approach your day with hope, share your thoughts with others, let humor carry you through. You have a whole cheering section rooting for you.

As the next bend in the road nears here are a few words from us.

You have taken everything that has been thrown your way. You have done so with class, style and a laugh here and there. You are an inspiration to all those cheering for you.

While we are away next week our thoughts and prayers will be for you.

Show Mr Nasty who's the boss.

Love and Hugs to you and Paul

Well the last line says it all... To those people that work and collaborate with Mima. When you thought you had vacations.... NOT !!!
He will be hovering and watching over that computer, I know, I have 43 years of experience. Raising the eye brow, giving you the mischievous smile and other mannerisms we all know.
RUN RUN for dear life… You will loose your hair, you will get fat, and you will succumb to crying on demand…. (Oh crap it has already happened to some of us) Take the vacation for goodness sakes, he will be back and then you will think…. Why Why Why did I not take the vacation.

Oh yes Mimita.. Here we go…… I loveee youuuu….

The little one.

...my, god, that lester person is such a cry-baby. But, anyhow, you should know that eyebrow intimidation has always been part of Mima's persona and I'm sure Frank and the gang at work get it in full force on occasion. But, by now, all of you must know NOT TO BE AFRAID, it is just a genetic tic and easily overcome with a martini (or any handy libation) to said eyebrow. You will find the result totally satisfying, despite perhaps jeapordizing your career. [Insert smiley face here.]
