a low key week-end

Yes I realize that there have been no entries. I disconnected for a while, no shrink, no blog...just my mental happy place... Since waiting and patience are not part of my make-up, I've resorted to a lot of my old relaxation standards, clean the closet, organize the drawers, go for a bicycle ride and in general, disconnect as much as possible. Tomorrow we have the scan and I would imagine that on the Thursday clinical rounds, we will all find out what the next step will be.

Any brilliant suggestions on how to kill 96 hours of waiting?

Wishing you a speedy recovery. I just finished 7 weeks of radiation after a radical prostatectomy didn't get my #s down to where they wanted them. They're at normal for now but only time will tell. Stay busy, but don't wear yourself out. Stay positive. Take it one day at a time. And keep knitting. It's good for the mind.

The weather looks like it will be nice for a few days. Get outside and enjoy that sea air. Sit on the rocks and read while thinking happy thoughts.

Rent a yacht and have it fully staffed for the next 96 hours. Invite all of your friends and live it up. You need my phone number?

Murfpapa - keep up the fight!

Rich... hurry back from your trip to give me a review of the ship.. a small yacht with staff might do, but prefer the big ship experience

Can't a book be written in spreadsheet format??? I've never met such a person who lives by all that organizational mumbo jumbo... Let yourself go free. Just scribble some shit on toilet paper & hire someone else to organize it. Isn't that what being in management is ALL about? To delegate>>>> BTW, that book, will be a #1 best seller I'll bet!
